What Is Required Under The Legislation?

Under the UAE & KSA Labour Laws, an employer must retain accurate employee records including personal and payroll records, provide valid visa/work permits and ensure accurate payroll. Payslips must be provided and salary must be paid within 14 working days from the month end either through the Wage Protection System or evidenced through Bank transfer.

This is a legal requirement and is subject to enforcement by the MOHRE, MSRD and Courts. The UAE Labour Laws were updated in 2022 which provides additional obligations and benefits to both employers and employees.
